Kite Building and Repairs / OSTK

There are plenty of plans available for DIY builders. Over the years I have built Vortex, 85% Sixth Sense, Magnet, Day and Night, BZar, Invictus and La Organic. After a lay off from kite building, a move and a new home to finish, I am looking forward to a new build for a dual liner. I have a 110% Magnet SUL booked in. Love the STD Magnet! There are plenty to look at on Karleoh's excellent site. Plans and video to look at as well.
The Matrix looks fun. The Return and the EOL both look like very nice kites. The NKOTB looks like it could be a schizophrenic psycho killer kite, in a good way (:
So who is building and what are you building. What have you built and how do you like it.
Yes yes every body like different things, thats what makes life interesting.
Love both Kareloh's site and the Clique.
It is great to see this site rise like the Phoenix from the ashes of GWTW.

I'll be there on the sport fields. Follow the road to the right and park at the clubhouse for quickest access. Forecast is for SW winds at 5 mph with 7 mph gusts. Really glad you're making the trip. I've found it to be a unique location.

They're about 50".  I have pigtails on the Revs to attach them to.  That adds an inch or two.

After cleaning with hot water and castille or veggie soap, I use silicon to protect my fabric.

Son of Gun, any Fabric Conditioner (for clothes) containing Silicon does the job. Also great for cleaning flying lines.

I've been told of a really nice place to fly in Greenville NC. I'm really feeling the need to put something in the air, so thought I'd go check this place out. Tomorrow, Sunday September 22 I'll be there with a variety of stuff to fly if anyone else in the general area wants to join me. I'm going to try to be there between 10 and 11, I'll be there several hours.

Because it's funny 😁 and shows your age. (Can't see yours, Lex)

The equivalent to GOG = Grumpy 😡 Old Git.

Ahhh, got it!
I had a "Scrooge" feeling with the word Curmudgeon.
Age wise we're in the same corner. 😔
Didn't fill in  my date of birth because I really don't care about it (takes a minute even to remember it).😎

Quote from: johnchilese on Sep 21, 2019, 01:35 amI don't see a problem. All those kites will fit in one kite bag for a trip to the field for some air time.

yeah.  That would be the logical step one.
